What We Did

We launched Goldberg into the market to play a strategic role between the mainstream and the economy segments of the market. This meant building the brand by communication arguments for their choice beyond price. Innovative trade and barmen schemes also ensured rapid uptake and support, all contributing to the delivery of a most effective campaign.

CHALLENGE: Goldberg doesn’t enjoy top of mind awareness when it comes to stock ordering and there is no incentive from barmen to push the brand.

IDEATION: If bar men get rewarded for collation of crowns they will remind bar owners of Goldberg. Bar owners will also stock if they get rewarded.

DEPLOYMENT: Activated over 300 bars across the west region involving both bar owners and barmen ~ bar owner gets 1 crate free for 5 cases purchased while barmen get rewarded for collecting above 100 crowns weekly.

 

RESULT: Improved response from barmen and bar owners. 25% increase in sales.
